Are my files uploaded to a server?
Free-tier conversions happen entirely in your browser using local WebAssembly conversion, so selected file contents are not uploaded to GetMarkdown. Pro is a separate, paid server-side option for PDFs and is clearly labeled before upload.
Does GetMarkdown work with AI agents and LLMs?
Yes. The output is structured Markdown for RAG pipelines, LLM context windows, agent workflows, knowledge bases, and Markdown-based tools such as Obsidian, Notion, and GitHub.
What happens to images in my documents?
When images are detected in Word and PowerPoint files, GetMarkdown can package them in a ZIP archive alongside the Markdown file and use relative image references.

Pro uses server-side processing for PDFs that need stronger table, layout, or OCR handling, up to 95 MB and 500 pages per PDF.
